Waters Edge Cottage

It was so wonderful to watch the sunrise in the morning from the dock. Seeing all the different fish around the dock and having the pelicans greet us each morning. The house was warm and inviting. It was a great home base and had all the essentials you need. The beach was a short 4-5 minute walk away. The house came with beach chairs, umbrella and beach cart so it made the short walk even easier. The beach itself is beautiful with crystal clear water. We enjoyed the many restaurants nearby. It was a wonderful vacation and will miss it very much.

Our stay at this home rental was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, we felt an overwhelming sense of comfort, peace, and belonging—just like being at home, but even better. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. One of the absolute highlights was the private dock access. It added an entirely new level to our experience, allowing us to enjoy the water any time of day—whether it was morning coffee by the dock, boating adventures, or peaceful evenings watching the sunset. Beautiful home, loads of well stocked amenities: toys for kids, kitchen supplies, beach chairs. Lovely views of the bay. Tons of natural light in the home and very well-thought out spaces. 3 minutes walking to the beach and a lovely little playground for the kiddos.

We wanted a private vacation with a private place for the guys to fish and multiple options for girls to hit the beach. This was the perfect place for us. The house was a home away from home. We were able to cook and grill. The host provided all of the utensils needed..They also provided some seasonings. The island has beautiful views and we were only a few minutes away from a Publix and Walgreens. The restaurants and shops were great. Our favorite restaurant was Tide tables. We will plan to stay here again.

The location of this property my was amazing, loved having our own dock with the sitting area, so nice to sit out and relax with a glass of wine after dinner. Quick walk to the Gulf and close to Bridge Street and the Kokonut Hut. House was exactly as pictured/described, well equipped with everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Property manager was very accessible when we had a question. Would definitely stay again!

I'd recommend this house to anyone. It had everything we needed. The dock and boat lift were great, for someone like me who loves to fish. And just a short walk to put your toes in the sand or enjoy the sunsets. We also watched the sunrise every morning . We will definitely be back.

Great location directly on the water and not stuck in the center of tourists! The home was beautiful, and filled with many things (like photos, local art, and awesome recommendations) that show it is a family home not just another investor flip! I was able to relax when needed but also have my friends over to eat, drink, and celebrate our lifelong friendships. I would look forward to booking another trip to the island in the future.

I felt things were reflective of what was advertised. We had a great time. The house was wonderful. It was nice to spend evenings watching the full moon come up over the water on the dock. It was beautiful! The one thing I could say is their were amenities such as kayaks and bikes and paddle boards. I didn’t feel the information on how to access these things was straightforward. I may have missed something but to me also could of been a bit more obvious for ease. But overall was a great couple days at a great place.

My family enjoyed this property so much. Great location and the private dock was perfect for our fishing adventures. We enjoyed many meals at the kitchen table enjoying the sunrise and watching the boats. My son really loved that you can see the Sky way bridge change colors at night. This home exceeded our expectations. We look forward to staying at this property in the future.

We spent 6 days with our kids here, it was the first family vacation we’ve taken in two years and it did not disappoint! The house was perfect, the location was perfect, and we had a fantastic experience!!!! We would highly recommend staying at this house! The beds were super comfortable and we had a space for everyone to unwind and sleep which is super important when you have a 22 year old daughter and a 17 year old son who need to get away from each other sometimes 😂.

The location of this house is perfect! Enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock and watch the sunrise as dolphins and fish swim around. The beach is a quick walk away and sunsets can end your day. For walkers, there is a small nature trail not far away and you can even walk into the Holmes Beach area for a great surf shop or pancakes on the beach. The house is cozy and well stocked and is great for families. Communication from AMI properties is also great and efficient!

We loved our short stay at this bay front house located in a quiet community only a few blocks walk from the Gulf. We loved having coffee on the private dock watching the sunrise and walking the few blocks to the Gulf for the sunset. We will be back.

Great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Only a 5 min to walk to the beach! Best of both worlds! Amazing sunrise over the mangrove islands in the AM and 5 star sunsets in the evening.. will definitely be back

Much to our surprise we loved the Water's Edge! You never know what you will find when booking online but we were pleasantly surprised with all that this rental offered. From the long pier out back with seating for two made for a beautiful peaceful place to watch the sunrise with coffee in hand or for casting a line to see what we could catch. Dolphins can be seen swimming by from the back porch. The house is well appointed for everything needed for a comfortable stay. Making meals was enjoyable in the kitchen that was fully stocked with every imaginable appliance needed, even a air fryer! We stayed for 3 weeks and wished we could have stayed longer, we were very much at home here and hope we can return to this unit again soon. Fingers crossed! It was the most relaxed vacation we have ever experience, first time here but not our last....love this island!

My family had the best vacation at Waters Edge Cottage. The home itself is beautiful and homey. We enjoyed grilling and cooking many meals together. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach! The trees surrounding the home make it seem like your living in a treehouse. The details inside the home are remarkable. Everywhere you turn is artwork or woodwork. The handmade staircase is gorgeous leading to a view of a lighthouse above. The wildlife was amazing. Birds, fish, starfish, jellyfish, crabs, dolfins, even a shark. We explored the island and also chartered a fishing trip. We are all fisherman now, which brings me back to the sunrise pier leading from the screened patio. What a great pier to fish from, rain or shine. All the equipment is there. My husband stated next time we will stay two weeks instead of one! We love Anna Maria Island and the Waters Edge Cottage!
