The location couldn’t be more perfect being only steps to the beach and to the village.We were able to see the sunset from one of the sitting areas and you can watch the gulf from the pool.The home is very spacious with lots of room for everyone. It is an absolutely gorgeous home.On top of that, everything was super easy from booking to check in to check out. The rental agency checked in often to make sure things were going well and it was a very easy and relaxing experience.Would stay here again and again and again…

I booked this property for a B-Day trip for my wife. She was amazed with this property! We enjoy the Siesta Key area very much! This property was close to everything we wanted to do, beach, village, etc. Cleanliness was exceptional! We had friends traveling with us and we were all very pleased with the layout of the home. Communication was great with our host. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay at this property.

This is an absolutely beautiful home! The location is absolutely perfect. It was great having our girls there. They were able to walk back up to the house and get a drink and come right back down to the beach. It was awesome. The house is absolutely beautiful, great pool and extremely clean! it was spacious and had a really big table which was great for us to sit together and have dinner. Literally walking distance to the little shops and downtown area with all the good restaurants and bars. We rented a golf cart which was great, but honestly not necessary.the beach access was beautiful and not overcrowded. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the backyard area. The beds were also extremely comfortable, which is often hard to find. Overall, we had an amazing stay and we would go back in a heartbeat!

We had 2-3 families with up to 8 kids at one point and there was plenty of space without feeling crowded. The pool was fantastic, plenty of towels, and a quick walk to the beach. The main strip was only a few blocks away. A couple things to know: grocery stores are a little farther out that some beach homes I’ve stayed at so I’d plan ahead (10-20min drive) and pool area had a lot of mosquitos during our stay in early October. I also had sent a couple of DMs to the property manager months ahead of our trip that did not get replies, but communication was fast and excellent if you just call directly or text. This was a fantastic house and would recommend to anyone looking to be in the area.

Right across from the beautiful beach, amazing views/sunsets, perfect for the six adults in our family as we could spread out. A few things needed some attention but the property manager was very fast and quick to address issues. One word of caution - staying in the third week of September, you do have to deal with possible hurricanes, and there were several restaurants closed for vacation since the season is over. We also had some noisy construction/repair going on in front of us and alongside the place, so maybe go earlier and it would be perfect!

Location was perfect - walk to the beach and a short ride to town. Enjoyed having our own pool to use. Unfortunately the umbrellas at the pool were broken, We told the property mgmt company who indicated they would come by to replace but that did not happen so we didn't have any shade (and it was very hot) but we still enjoyed our time. House is beautiful.

Across from the white sands of Siesta Key and a very short walk to the village restaurants and shops, you really can't beat the location of this property. Even better, it's not some old cottage on the beach, its basically a brand new home throughout. The layout of the house was great for adults and kids. The pool was fantastic. We'd definitely stay here again!

Your cottage is in the perfect location with a quick walk to the beach and downtown Siesta Key. The pool is a great feature as well. The newly renovated house is beautiful with a wonderful kitchen and bathrooms. Highly recommended!

The house is gorgeous and the pool is very nice. Just being steps to the beach was our favorite part! And it's just a 5 min walk to the village, the location could not be better. The only con of the stay was the construction. It was not stated in the listing and it starts as early as 6:30am and lasts until 6pm. It was a big disappointment for us. There is also not a lot of privacy due to all the windows and not having window treatments on some. I am still giving it 5 stars because the construction won't last forever and it is an amazing rental that we would rent again post construction.

Modern house great for family with master off living room and additional bedroom in separate hallway. The house is well designed, very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was a great retreat with extra refrigerator and freezer outside… was perfect for the kids. There is a cart and chairs to take to making the beach. Great location and easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Highly recommend!

Such a perfect location, you seriously won't find anything better or closer to the beach. The pool area was gorgeous and perfectly heated. They provided an awesome beach wagon, chairs and umbrella that are fabulous for a day trip to the beach. The kitchen has all of the tools (no spices/oils/condiments) to create whatever you want to cook. There is also a great plethora of beach towels and on onsite/washer dryer. Kid friendly as well! I didn't have to baby proof anything ... Apart from the pool area that is. However the first big section of the pool is just wading level depth. Perfect for toddlers!
We so enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place.

We stayed here with our two young children (4 and 1.5 yo). The house was spacious and beautifully done. The backyard was an oasis. The kids loved the shallow landing and it made it very relaxing to hangout all together outside. Literal steps to the most gorgeous beach. The house had a beach wagon which was very convenient. And beanbag toss which was fun. Also, just a couple blocks' walk to the town which is full of restaurants and shops. Check in / out was easy. Would highly recommend this stay. Would love to stay again.

Great property and location ! The outside area was perfect for everyone to relax and hangout at the pool! Perfect for large families or for a large gathering of family and friends . We had more adults then kids so the bunk beds weren’t a great option . The sleeper sofa in the living room was decent and the in-law suite sofa does not pull out as expected so accommodating young adults was challenging.

House is ideally situated with a short walk to Siesta Key Village. You can see the Gulf from the pool deck as well as the front porch. Only issue is the chronic standing water in the street between house & the nearest public beach access. The house was well supplied & we enjoyed our visit ( except for the Red tide that affected us for a couple days)

We’re so glad that you enjoyed our beautiful ‘Sugar Sand Cottage’ property and its convenient location to both the Gulf as well as Siesta Key Village. We do apologize that you experienced two small inconveniences by mother nature during your stay. When Siesta Key experiences heavy rain, the public streets in front of this home, maintained by Sarasota County, do experience some minor flooding and water backup. This does not impact our home or the property, but it does impact the pathway to the beach. Over the last few years of managing this home, we have made Sarasota County aware of this issue and we are happy to share that Sarasota County is currently correcting the issue with drainage mitigation in the ‘county right-of-way’ in front of our home. We are hopeful that this effort will correct this issue going forward. Like the heavy rains that resulted in the flooding previously mentioned, we are also sorry that mother nature didn’t cooperate with the Red Tide that has been reported in our area as well. While this is obviously outside of our control, beach conditions can change daily. Our staff is continually monitoring these conditions under the guidance of our local experts, Mote Marine Laboratory. Any staff member in our office is happy to recommend alternate local beaches in our area that may have better reported conditions for that day. We are continually monitoring these changes and reporting them via the FAQ page on our website as well as weekly beach update videos shared on our social media pages. We hope this provides some additional information on the actions we are taking to keep our guests informed on these ever-changing conditions. We hope that this home’s beautiful interior and exterior spaces were a tranquil retreat when you were unable to make it to the beach. The house was at an amazing location. Short walk to siesta key village and a market for food and supplies. Beach was visible from the house. Extremely short walk to the beach. We were able to walk back to the house if we forgot something. House was beautiful and floor plan was perfect for two families of four. Having a pool was amazing for our kids when they were ready to leave the beach. I would HIGHLY recommend this house!! Beach had white powder sand and beautiful turquoise water! Best beach we have been to in Florida!!
