Had beach chairs, ( small) but great for sitting in the sand by the gulf! This is our second year at Sand dollar! We will be back! Only thing the guests above us were pretty loud this year ! But that’s to be expected when you have people above you !

The inside of this unit was well thought out. The decor and furniture are beautiful and so tasteful, the beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, beach towels and accessories are provided. You will not need for anything in this unit. The outside of the unit is stunning- enjoy sunsets from the patio. The view of the beach and Gulf are gorgeous. This is our second time at this property, we will be back for this particular unit, it was so homey, I wanted to move right in!

Cleanest pool and hot tub we have utilized in a beachfront location along St. Pete/Clearwater area. Condo was renovated and clean! All amenities you could need were available.

There is a trolley that runs up and down Gulf Blvd., and this is also a HUGE Uber/Lyft area. All the better.

Property outside was kept up very well. Inside of our unit was spotless and well stocked. Staff was great. Helpful and informative. We will return to Sand Doller 109 if available. Best location in the complex. Always an open parking spot. We will be back

While our view was phenomenal, since we were closer to the pool than we have been in the past, we noticed that it could be a little noisier on the balcony. It felt like a bargain for the price.The management company on site were friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Our one and only complaint, and it's a big one, is that this company does not provide beach towels. We had to go and purchase 5 towels for our party, then try to fit them into our luggage--quite a challenge. We went back through the emails and paperwork we received and could not find anything that informed us that beach towels were not provided. I have never stayed in a beach rental that didn't provide beach towels. It was a pretty big obstacle to overcome and jaded our opinion of the property straight out of the gate. But as I said, we ended up having a wonderful stay.

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the Sand Dollar for 15 plus years and recently discovered unit 109 which has a Friday check-in which we like and it is also a beautiful unit - well stocked - well located on the first floor since we run up and down the stairs all day to get things we have forgotten!!! I also like that this unit is located near the hot tub and pool so we can watch children/teens in the pool. Best of all is the pier that we sit under for shade from the sun!!!!!

I missed having a gas stove but I don't think any of the units do. The pool and sauna area is cleaned several times daily. We tend to use the beach more often. Why wouldn't you! The private fishing pier and BBQ area are added bonuses! Talk about location; so many restaurants and shops in all directions. Holly in guest services is amazing. We were able to check in early in less than 5 minutes. This is our go to place in Florida!

The pool and beach area are always clean, the property is always clean and well manicured, the staff are very friendly, and the location is perfect!! Holly, in Guest Services, always makes sure we have everything we need, makes check in a "breeze", and always has a smile on her face. We stayed in Unit 109 this time, and it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! The décor is very pretty and welcoming/inviting, the beds were so comfortable, we felt like we were at a 5-star resort!!! Will always come back to visit Sand Dollar when we want to be in Florida.

I wish there would have been a few supplies there which would make it much more convenient for a guest. For instance, a couple pods of laundry detergent, some aluminum foil, a couple spices, a clean, new sponge... I can't imagine it would cost more than $10 per stay and would be so much easier on your guests. The hot tub was right below the balcony and the ocean view was fantastic. It's really a lovely place to stay.

This unit was beautifully decorated! (The couch does have a low spot in it - but otherwise great). Pool and hot tub well maintained. One of my favorite things - There are two person beach cabanas placed on the Sand Dollar’s beach you can rent from a local vendor daily or weekly. The office personnel are very kind and helpful! I will definitely be going back.
