Plenty BIG with 6 bedrooms. Heated pool. Kayak and paddle board available to use in the canal. One toilet was not cleaned and was stopped up with broken plunger and broken toilet brush when we arrived. Management was very pleasant and toilet fixed the next day. Would stay here again.

The Salty Dog was all that was advertised. The property was great and it was well set up for rentals (ie. grilling materials, smart tvs in every room, etc.). The host was proactive and easy to reach. The house and outdoor area was very clean and organized.

Beautiful property, perfect location!! So close to town and beaches, but just far enough away to feel quiet and relaxed, cannot wait to come back. The pool and spa were used daily. Excellent spot to do a little kayaking as well. So much space inside to spread out. Comfortable beds all around. The rooftop deck was frequently used. The views around the key are really amazing! Lovely home was perfect for four couples each having a bedroom and bath ensuite. Location was perfect, walkable to beach. We hoped to cook but house is not equipped with kitchen basic necessities (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, spices, kitchen towels) so we enjoyed dining at many nearby restaurants, also walkable. Bathroom linens were somewhat thin but beach towels were useful for beach and bath. Our group of eight would definitely return to SK and Salty Dog.

Great location. Quick and easy walk to village and beach! All the furnishings were top notch! The rooftop deck was great for a sunset cocktail! Honestly have no complaints about this house. Perhaps for this price the kitchen could be better stocked ... but I'm sure it will be over time. for example the only tongs to flip bacon were the massive tongs for the grill! Also, unlike other rentals we have stayed at, this place was completely empty of any spices (even salt and pepper), nor things like coffee filters or aluminum foil. The cleaning staff must completey empty it of everything prior to the next guest.

New and clean house on 3 levels.
It’s less than a 10 minute walk to siesta village where many shops and restaurants are available.
1 block to the beach entrance. Although it’s another 250 yards (or so) to the actual beach.
It’s worth every step as the sand is extremely soft and cool.
We rented it for 10 days with 7 people and has plenty to do and lots of space.
Only downside was the kitchen stock. Could use a few more included supplies.

Comfortable, beautifully decorated home! Lots of seating and a huge island kitchen for food prep and eating. The beds were very comfortable as well, good support for people over 60, and not the super soft mattresses that are frequently found in rentals. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax. The only missing items were large serving platters. Those seem essential for a five bedroom rental. Walking distance to the beach and to Siesta Key Village. All in all, a lovely home.

This house was just as presented. Very clean, great decor. Massive kitchen table. We were group 10 - ahem…”Mature Women” we had fun like a bunch of kids. The house is in a great location. Very close to restaurants, bars, shops and other fun things to do. All in walking distance. The pool and hot tub were very warm. Dealing with the property manager was a breeze. This house was perfect for us. Everything was as good or better than we expected. Between the location, the amenities, the care and condition of the house, and all the communication we had before, during and after our stay, we were very pleased. The house has plenty of space both inside and out and is very comfortable for relaxing, eating, swimming, etc. We were never bored and could just as easily walk to the beach, town or great restaurants. The beach chairs, towels, wagon and cooler were perfect! Great house - highly recommend.

This house had everything you need/want and then some. We loved the backyard and having the dock available for paddleboarding/kayaking was wonderful! We used that yard every single day! The property manager (Matt) was very responsive and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. The beach access is a short walk and the village is a 5 minute walk. The rental property was absolutely gorgeous! Each King room has a bathroom/shower with a balcony view. The pool was perfect as well as the canal in the back of the home. The beach was walking distance. The house is also walking distance from downtown shops, restaurants, and food markets. The home has kayaking equipment, beach chairs, towels, cooler, and two beach carts to accommodate a large family/guests. I would most certainly visit again. Perfect location with several amenities. The manager was responsive. Would highly recommend.

The Salty Dog was wonderful! The pool and backyard space were great and the kitchen was perfect! You can’t beat the location, can easily walk to anywhere in siesta village in a few minutes and it’s super close to the beach as well! My family and I had an amazing stay. This place is beautiful!  Back patio has furniture and a bar.  There is a spare refrigerator and freezer in the garage for extra supplies.  Plenty of bath and pool towels.  We arrived on the day a Cat 1 hurricane was passing thru so the pool was flooded by the canal.  They had someone over the next day to pump it out and get it up and running.  Excellent service!
The only negatives was the lack of a bathroom at pool level so you have to go to the second floor. Additionally, the beautiful kitchen had no dish cloths or kitchen towels.  While the glasses, plates, cookware and silverware were plentiful, there are a few things that it could use like a pitcher (we mixed drinks in the blender pitcher), good tongs, etc. 
Would definitely stay there again
EDIT: I emailed this to the managers prior to posting. They thanked me for the feedback and stated there were supposed to be towels. Also, they will fill the gaps in the kitchen.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The house was perfect in every way, it had everything we needed and Emma was outstanding to work with while we were there. The only we wish we had was umbrella's because it rained so much.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The pool area and patio were awesome, and the property manager was so nice and easy to get ahold of. Let us store bags in office while we waited to check in. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!!

We had two families stay on this property. The house is decorated so nicely. It’s really beautiful. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen table is gorgeous! All the bedrooms were nice with great bathrooms. Everything was nice and clean! Laundry room on both living floors. The elevator was awesome to take all of the bags up and down and for those that couldn’t walk up all the steps. The pool and hot tub were beautiful as well. We had a blast in the outdoor living space. The older kids loved the crane’s roost on the top of the house. The power went out on the day before we left and it knocked out the WiFi and the pool and hot tub system which was unfortunate. Communication with the property management was excellent. Very close to the beach so we could walk and the garage had enough pool and beach toys to keep everyone happy. The only drawbacks- the mattresses were very firm. For some people that aren’t used to that extra firmness, it really hurt their back! And there seems to be a lot of missing cooking utensils and storage wear. We went out a bought a few of those things to get us through the week. Also, the dishwasher seems to not clean the dishes very well so we had to do a lot of hand washing. But all of the other appliances that we used were great. I would highly recommend this property and the management team for future rentals. We will definitely be back!!

This is a beautiful home, fitted with everything a group needs for staying in or going to town. The pool and hot tub are perfect and he whole family can stay in the shade of the covered patio to watch TV or grill or have beverages by the tiki bar. Every room is spacious with beautiful bathrooms. Plenty of towels for the house and the beach. Walk to town or the beach. Watch the manatees swim past from the private dock (shared with one family house) or fish from the pier on the canal. The best part is the kitchen table - it’s HUGE!!! Plenty of room for several board games at once and everyone can sit together for meals. Stop renting houses that hold tons of people and only have a table for 6!!!! This home is even better in person than in the pictures. The finishes are high end and it is clear that the spaces were very thoughtfully planned. The property manager was highly responsive with questions. Walking distance to town is an added plus...Highly recommend!!!

My family and I stayed at this home in early January and we enjoyed every minute of it. The home was brand new and came equipped with a paddle board and kayak. If that wasn’t enough our young kids got to fish right in our own backyard. Dana, our home Concierge was amazing from the time we booked until the day we left. We can’t to come back to Siesta Key.

I recommend without reservation. We were the second family to stay in this new construction. Very well done in all aspects. Location is perfect for walking to beach and town. Sauna and pool temperatures are easily adjusted to personal preference. Enjoy.
