Great home with all needed comforts. Beach is right behind it when is low tide, otherwise beach access is only a block away. Home is clean, modern and comfortable with amazing sunrises.

My husband surprised me with a stay at Breakaway for my birthday. I have never had such a wonderful time, we made lifelong memories, we LOVED the private pool in the front of the home, no words can describe the view out of the back windows, you will just have to see it for yourself, photos do NOT do it justice, it is absolutely amazing! We saw a whole family of manatees swim right by the sea wall our first morning. We could sit out there all day, dolphins were everywhere! The kitchen was fully stocked, we had the best time cooking and grilling out as well. The bedrooms were very comfortable, living room was super comfy and we loved playing board games in the evening there. This place would be excellent for anyone, especially families, there is a very cute bunk room for kids as well, with USB chargers and lights on the beds, very thoughtful! We will back as soon as we can, we HIGHLY recommend!! 5 stars all around!

What a perfect spot! We traveled with our family of five including a 4 year old and two teenagers. Having the bay literally steps out the back door was a delight. Dolphins swam and played right in front of us every day and even though there wasn’t any real “beach” the patio/deck area with lounge chairs and hammock were perfect. The pool was fantastic as well we often spent the morning in the pool and the afternoon in the bay. We took a 4-hr boat trip to Egmont Key through Bradenton Mari a which was fantastic. Enjoyed ice cream at Two Scoops and a delicious Lunch at The Porch. We also got a steamer pot from Topsail one night which was a fun and delicious dinner! Being there for the 4th of July was perfect. We just sat on the back patio and could see fireworks across the bay all around. Management was very responsive to any question we had although being there 8 nights I did not recall seeing the pool being serviced during our stay and the information in the home said that would happen twice per week. I also spent some time sweeping off the patio area upon our arrival to make for a cleaner outdoor area (just leaves and pine needles that blow down throughout the day). Everything worked well, the home is nicely and comfortably decorated. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking at the home was easy - sharper chef’s knives would’ve been nice 😊 Perfect vacation spot!

This property is wonderful. I love the fact that the sliding doors open all the way up so that the outside and beautiful views are part of the living space. We enjoy having the bedrooms and the living space are all on the same floor and we can walk directly outside without having any steps to climb up or down. Having only two bathrooms, made it a little more of a challenge, but it was worth it.

Breakaway could not be a better spot for a beach vacation. It was perfect for our group of friends. The ocean (with its dolphins, manatees and birdlife) can be enjoyed from in the water, to on the beach, to on the deck, to the living room couch, and just a bit back to making meals in the kitchen. Or lounging on your bed in the master bedroom. It just could not be a nicer spot. And if you want to get away from all that, you move poolside! You have everything for a lovely stay and more a short bike ride away. I will happily come back again.

Absolutely beautiful property! Clean, excellently equipped, comfortable beds, great approxcimity to everything. Swim in ocean or pool. Great decor. Very comfortable and relaxing. Ocean view is spectacular for sunsets and sunrises. Highly reccommend.

A beautiful all inclusive beach house that left us wanting for nothing. Super comfortable rooms and beds (slept 10 of us very comfortably). Full kitchen. Two bathrooms and laundry room. The ocean kept us entertained during the day and a warm pool for late afternoon / evening. We felt so spoiled and refreshed after our week at breakaway. Thank you!

Just got back from a fabulous week at Breakaway. From the front patio bay view through to the back patio pool oasis we felt like we were in paradise. The property was spotless inside and out with the kitchen well appointed and lots of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable and room to unpack and relax. We can’t wait to return and have already booked.

This beautiful house was perfectly comfortable for us 10 women. It has all the amenities you would want with spectacular views, ocean access, and a wonderful pool. The location is great so we rented bikes to get around. Tennis and pickleball are close by at the community centre, as well as lots of shops and restaurants.

We are 10 girls who love tennis and come to « Breakaway » every year for a week. This place is absolute Paradise. We lacked nothing, the tennis is 5 minutes away, no need for a car on the island, and the views are nothing short of spectacular. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with absolutely everything all 10 of us needed. So close to the water waking up every morning to sunshine, dolphins breaching, manatees swimming by and hours of wickleball (a take on the land version played in the ocean). Then cocktails by the pool to finish the day off before watching the glorious sunset. We cannot imagine a better place on earth to spend a week with friends!

Our family loved this vacation home. Everything was in perfect condition and the home was very welcoming and cozy. The front porch area was great for watching all the sea life (constantly saw pelicans, dolphins, star fish, fishing boats & more). We were in the pool all day every day. I love the pool design. It was great for all ages. The kids especially liked the little sunbathing area. The landscaping and patio were well maintained and we spent lot of time sitting there watching the ocean and also in the beachside hammock. The water was clear, the weather was beautiful and restaurants around were great. The beach was absolutely stunning. The rooms were well decorated, everything was clean and comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. I had a love/ hate relationship with the alarm on the back door but I’m glad it’s there. The community was great. Honestly it was wonderful. One of the best vacations we’ve ever been on

Wow!!! A fantastic place. It looks great in the photos, but even better in person. Beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. A beautiful quiet location. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and the rec centre. We were a family of 6 and there was ample room for more. Curious pelicans visiting on occasion and dolphins swimming 50 meters offshore. Arrival and departure were simple and seamless. Highly recommend a stay at Breakaway!

Beautiful property with superior amenities. Only decision required if you want to enjoy the pool or the ocean. Owners have made this extravagant home comfortable for any family to enjoy. Bay view is spectacular through floor to ceiling glass doors and walking distance to Rod and Reel Pier.

I visited with 9 other friends. The place was excellent but the sleeping arrangements were snug for 10. The couch was a great option for sleeping which helped. Beautiful view of the bay! Lots of light and on a very quiet street. We walked the beach from the back porch. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet weekend away.

Great house directly on water. Very roomy, nice pool, on the bay in walking distance to Rod and Reel. Easy access and close to Bean Point. Would differently stay here again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at Breakaway! However we did have to get repair men in twice. Once for the garbage disposal which did get fixed. Then we realized the dishwasher leaked a lot. It is supposed to be getting replaced. Also the bottom corner kitchen cabinet is falling apart. We never had really hot water in the kitchen. We we would have liked since we washed all the dishes since the dishwasher leaked. Extra blankets would be nice to have also.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the best choice. The secluded heated pool is located at the front of the house, and was well used. The open concept of the home provided space for all of us. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and both bathrooms were easily accessed. The house has an incredible vista of the ocean viewed through floor to ceiling windows. We spent most of our time outside lounging on the sun chairs, swimming in the water just steps from the deck and had lunch in the shaded areas under the trees and sun umbrellas. We will definitely be back!

I don’t know where you’d find a better place to spend a week. My friends and I enjoyed every minute of our stay and the house was perfecty. No need for a car, easy biking everywhere, great kitchen to cook in, place was spotless and views were out of this world beautiful! Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Breakaway provides excellence in decor, design, ocean access, comfort and cleanliness. Thr location was in excellent proximity to tennis courts, shops, and quality restaurants. Well.stocked with all you will need to cook if you desire. Would definately rent this spot again. Highly recommended.

This was a great property in a really nice area. It had everything you could ask for including a great pool and the great bay front area. The kitchen was very well equip with everything that you need for your stay. The only complaint was that some of the outdoor furniture has seen better days and was broke. We did have a couple of problems while we were there and had to call the management company but they were very responsive and everyone we dealt with with friendly and helpful. They worked to fix everything.

We booked this property with family for our stay while we got married in AMI! It was the perfect location to amenities such as the store, restaurants, ice cream, etc. And of course, the beach!!! How could you not love this place? This was also a perfect location for our multiple families staying here. One story was great for grandma, no stairs was great for the babies/kids, and all the adults loved the ease of having the ocean and the pool right there! We loved it so much- we plan (post coronavirus) to make it a yearly family vacation! There was space for plenty of parking (we used golfcarts to get around), having the ability to grill was awesome- and the laundry on site was a lifesaver! My biggest complaint was the management company and the unwillingness to rebook/cancel due to spiking Coronavirus cases in Florida. There was also confusion on the second installment of our final bill- which they did investigate for me and told me to contact VRBO about the discrepancy. I partially understand their unwillingness to change reservations- I can’t imagine how much the travel industry is suffering right now. But it all worked out fine, we had a fantastic time and we all made it back home safely without exposure.

House was clean and very livable. Was happy to see a well-equipped kitchen as we did all our own meals. The pool was wonderful and the beachside backyard was great with the best views and the lovely trees for shade. Already booked to go back next year!
